Forespar Fact Finder

 

During Phil’s visit he was shown the different processes for making up Marelon and Carbon products along with the general running of the factory.  Another two days were put aside to visit their local customers from Marina del Rey through to San Diego. 

 

The Marelon range of products takes between 2-3 days from initial mouldings.  Part of this process is to allow the product to absorb moisture from the atmosphere, followed by pressure testing of the components in each unit.   The Forespar Marelon range meets both UL and A.B.Y.C H – 27 standards for use above and below the waterline.  Marelon is often mistaken for normal plastic but has many different characteristics. Should you wish to find out more please contact Phil via email or contact the DeckHardware office on 02 9905 9400.

 

The Forespar range of Spinnaker Poles include Timber grain finishes individually made with several coats of paint.  This compliments their Carbon and Aluminium range.

 

Phil was able to look into the spring lengths for the pole ends which are made specifically to allow the pin to open and close to their required lengths. 

 

Forespar will make custom Tiller extensions to suit individual needs.  Their universal fitting with its unique custom tooling is a fantastic fitting.
