Allen's fittings are a high performance range of dynamic ball bearing blocks, ball bearing cam cleats and ball bearing traveller cars are designed and manufactured with the highest quality, performance and innovation as the main priority.

Accessories
Accessories This section covers all those essential extras that you simply couldn’t do without. From ball stoppers to clips, hooks, springs, burgees, bailers, rowlocks, bungs, winch handles, trapeze equipment and hatch covers. Allen’s range of accessories is diverse, all with the same attention to design and quality that you find in the Allen dynamic range.
Blocks
Blocks A block is a single or multiple pulley. One or more sheaves are enclosed in an assembly between cheeks. In use a block is fixed to the end of a line, to a spar, or to a surface. Rope or line is threaded through the sheaves. Some blocks have a ratchet, which means that they turn freely when you pull a line in one direction but do not turn in the other direction. This makes a line easier to hold especially on a windy day. Work on our range of blocks has headed the effort to find new standards of performance and construction. Allen invented the science behind the patented Allen dynamic bearing technology, and all our high performing blocks use this as a basis of the inner bearing system. Allen also invented and patented the Ultra-strap technology, a very narrow strap of high strength stainless steel, which can be lashed without the fear of line abrasion associated with blocks of traditional strap construction.  The sheaves and cheeks are moulded from advanced engineering polymers, which are all wrapped up in meticulously designed stainless steel cheeks, adding strength to the moulded components. Cleats
Cleats Cleats are used to hold a line under load.  Simple open cleats rely on a rope to be tied to them, while v-cleats or ClamcleatsR use a narrowing opening to jam the line in place, or cam cleats use swivelling jaws to hold the rope. They are fitted directly to the deck, spars or used as part of a pulley system as in trapeze wires. Risers and other accessories allow the cleats to be angled correctly or the line to be held in place when it is un-cleated.   Allen Cam Cleats have had over 50 years of meticulous R&D to perfect their design.  Available in either Alanite or Alloy, the jaw profile optimizes rope entry and exit for smooth cleating and uncleating, whilst double coil springs and ball bearing technology give consistent cam action.  The addition of the ultra-prolead with optional wire reinforcement enhances cleating angles for superior performance and longevity.
Deck Hardware
Deck Hardware Deck hardware covers a host of items from anchor plates to fairleads, bushes, traveller cars, u-bolts, bow and shroud plates in a range of sizes. Over many years of working with a huge variety of classes, Allen has developed a range that maximises performance and minimises wear and tear.
Rudder Accessories
Rudder Accessories Using high grade materials, combined with years of experience, we have built a reliable and wide range of fixtures and fittings for accessorising rudder equipment. This section includes carbon and aluminium tiller extensions and joints for a wide range of classes, as well as rudder stocks, retainers and the essential pintles and gudgeons that are used to fit a rudder to a boat.
Sail Hardware
Sail Hardware Over many years Allen has worked with the best sailmakers in the world and has produced a comprehensive range of sail hardware suitable for dinghies and small yachts from jib hanks to headboards, sail slides and snap blocks. Our CNC injection moulding machines produce high quality sail hardware made from high-grade nylon, which is post-mould treated to increase the malleability and reduce the risk of breakages.
Shackles
Shackles Allen’s range of stainless steel shackles has been developed over the years to include a full range of high quality shackles for a wide range of applications. The range includes pressed shackles, strip shackles, twisted shackles and forged shackles in a selection of sizes with a variety of pin styles.
Spars and Rigging Accessories
Spars and Rigging Accessories Using the very latest technology, Allen designs and manufactures a high quality range of stainless steel mast accessories, from stay adjusters, mast tangs and straps, Highfield levers and vernier adjusters. Having previously manufactured a large range of spars Allen have an archive of products specially designed to integrate with most specs. New to the range is the A4772DR-KIT heavy duty vernier adjuster with captive de-raker.  Made from heavy duty 14 guage 316 stainless steel it easily handles higher loads and with the aid of calibrated settings, fast pins and captive deraker make fine tuning on the water a doddle.  It is also available in a compact version (A4772SDR-KIT) where there is limited requirement for rake change between light and heavy airs.
Tracks
Tracks Allen Tracks, mast tracks and end stops are designed to work with a range of deck hardware products for a wide variety of applications, in hard anodised black or aluminium finish and a number of different profile designs. Allens travellers are made by CNC machining from a single solid length of high grade, black anodised aluminium, allowing them to create perfectly flowing ball tracks that won't explode and can easily be customised.  The cards have an ultra low profile and use recirculating ball-bearing technology, while the range offers a variety of configurations and sizes to suit a wide range of applications and sizes.
YS Fittings
YS Fittings Quality Aluminium Marine Hardware YS Fittings are manufactured by Allen Brothers in a dedicated foundry at their factory in Essex, UK. Using specialist techniques and experience developed over 40 plus years, our skilled craftsmen create beautiful hand-polished marine fittings. The light, high grade aluminium used in the casting process has an extremely high tensile strength and the silver anodizing at 15 microns is exceptionally durable and protective against the tough marine environment.
