In these Terms of Service, “you” and “your” refer to the user, viewer or customer using our website or purchasing products from us.

Orders, pricing and payment

• Submitting an order through our website is an offer to purchase products. We accept an order only after confirming availability and any freight charge, obtaining your approval where required, and issuing an order confirmation or otherwise confirming acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced or incorrectly described. If payment has been taken for an order we do not accept, we will refund it.

Availability, backorders and delivery

• Products marked as Backorder or Available may not be immediately in stock and delivery timeframes can vary between suppliers. Non Stock items require a 50% deposit.

• Orders containing backordered items may be shipped in multiple consignments. We will advise you of any additional freight charges and obtain your approval before dispatching a separate consignment.

• Freight costs are calculated after your order is received to ensure the most suitable shipping option is selected. Additional freight charges will not be applied without your approval.

Special orders, cancellations and returns

• Some products are specially ordered, custom-made, modified or cut to length and may require full or partial prepayment before ordering from the supplier.
• Special Order Products may only be cancelled before DeckHardware commits to the supplier. Once a supplier order has been placed or customisation has commenced, cancellation may not be possible.
• Change-of-mind returns are generally not available on Special Order, custom-made, cut-length or clearance products.
• Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. 
• Prices displayed on the website are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery, customs charges and other applicable charges are additional unless expressly included. We may correct genuine pricing, product information or calculation errors before accepting an order. If an error affects an order already submitted, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item for a refund.

Website use, content and third-party links

• This website may contain links to external websites. DeckHardware does not sponsor, guarantee or approve their content and does not warrant that linked sites are free from viruses, defects or infringements.
• You may link to this website provided the full page is loaded. Links to individual graphics or secure areas that bypass security or password protection are prohibited. Please contact us before using a graphic to link to this website.

• We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
• You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Privacy, cookies and legal terms

• In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
• We may use cookies to gather data in relation to this website and you consent to us doing so (although you may be able to disable cookies on your web browser).
• Your submission of personal information through our online store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.
