Sheaves

Sheaves are available in various types, including Plain Bearing, Ball Bearing, and High Load options. 

We distribute a range of Sheaves for use with wire or rope on dinghies through to yachts, as well as many Industrial applications. 

Our Sheaves are made of different materials from well known Marine Brands. 

Allen Sheaves are made from acetal resin, aluminium, or stainless steel and feature either ball or plain bearings.

They come in a wide range of sizes and configurations to suit all applications whether it is replacing old or worn existing parts or to build a custom fitting yourself.

Barton Marine's comprehensive range of plain and ball bearing sheaves are used throughout the complete Barton block range. Moulded from Acetal resin, the super-low friction ball race system features Delrin balls running on a large diameter centre boss, which ensures an extremely low friction performance.
