Thank you for choosing Allen. As a proudly family-run business, based in the UK, we’re delighted to be part of your sailing journey. Our story began in the 1950s, when my father, Tony Allen, and his brother Glenn started designing and building fittings for their own race boats in a garden shed. Their passion for sailing and engineering soon sparked a growing demand, and in 1956, Allen Brothers (Fittings) Ltd. was born.
Seventy years on, we’re still driven by that same spirit of innovation. From our factory in Southminster, Essex, we continue to design and manufacture high-performance sailing hardware that sets the standard across the industry. We pride ourselves on producing the best products on the market—hardware that’s not only built to perform but also to last. With ongoing investment in the latest technologies and a dedicated in-house team, we’re constantly developing new ideas to push sailing performance further.
