A temporary or emergency plug Sta-Plug® is the modern alternative to a wooden emergency plug.  The cone shaped plug with gripping riblets to help hold in in place.  Made of a propritary foam formulation creating a solid but spongy plug which can be used in round, oval and irregular holes on your boats hull.    Refer to Yachting Australia Blue Book 2013-2016 for  Rule 3.09.1 (B)

PROtect patches are pressure sensitive tapes using UHMWPE film with an aggressive acrylic adhesive, the result is a very tough material with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic presently made.  It has extremely low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating and highly resistant to abrasion so ideal to fix chafe, abrasion, friction of dragging lines and sheets.
