Allen's range is specifically intended for use where wire lines are subjected to low rotational high loads. Allen's Wire Blocks range features stainless-steel side cheeks to give maximum strength in the smallest form possible and a single row of spaced stainless-steel ball bearings in the sheave. Available with different accessories including hooks, beckets, swivels and shackles giving a whole range of choice to suit the application.
Bartons Marine's Aluminium high load blocks are a range of high strength blocks designed for use with wire ropes or in exceptionally rugged conditions. With cheeks manufactured from marine-grade aluminium, 'Spectro' grey annodised and running on nylon bearings to reduce friction under load. Reinforcing plates, rivets and shackle straps are all from 316 stainless steel.
Schaefer Marine offers several utility and collar post blocks to solve a variety of lead problems on your boat. Schaefer's Utility style blocks offer a removable ferrule design for quick and strong attachment to a wide variety of fittings. The 505-20 and 705-20 include a collar post and M66-20 and M82-20 offer an easy attachment to existing mast collars. All of Schaefer's utility blocks are ideal for high static loads created at the base of a sailboat mast.
