Aussie Skiffs Nationals 2018-2019

It was fantastic to end 2018 and kick start 2019 Sponsoring the Aussie Skiffs Nationals with the support of our suppliers Allen and LIROS Ropes.

With Allen a Race Day Sponsor we have thoroughly enjoyed following all the action in person and online. We asked Aussie Team Allen Sailor Nathan Edwards to represent Allen and present the prizes on their race day.

We have a long history with the Aussie Skiffs and with friends competing Mel decided to join them for a Holiday and watch the racing.  A big thanks to our friends at RQYS for helping her get out on the water in a RIB! Not only did it mean she was able to get some photos for DeckHardware to use but also enjoy the racing and a break from the office.

A big highlight was the coverage by Brady Lowe. What an amazing effort to be out commentating every day of racing, incredible knowledge of the fleet competing as well. It goes to show how much Brady loves our sport and what he does in sailing. 

Thanks to those who supported us as a Sponsor and had stickers on their boats or wore our shirts.

Congratulations to everyone who competed, it certainly was a tough event with the light breeze. Congratulations to those who Won Overall as well as those who had a regatta-best result.
