Gathering On The Bay 2024

Mel once again joined the WWSA Gathering on the Bay this time talking Furling Systems and Dyneema®.

The WWSA Gathering on the Bay (GOTB) is a three-day-event for women on the water held annually at Port Stephens, NSW. All women interested in boats are welcome (don't need to be a WWSA member to attend)!

The 2024 GOTB was held at the Nelson Bay Golf Club, Nelson Bay, Port Stephens, from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th April.

We think Mel has spoken at every Gathering of the Bay?  Thanks to the reminder from Shelley the main organiser who mentioned this during Mel's introduction. 

It is a fantastic event filled with Knowledge and Friendly faces full of stories. This time around Mel was able to stay for the Day and also took part in a Women in Maritime Panel later in the day.
