Environmental protection and Sustainability are an important part of the LIROS company philosophy. LIROS introduces bio-based Dyneema in the area of technical high-tenacity fibres – an ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) certified product innovation by DSM, the exclusive producer of the high-tenacity Dyneema!
An intern current lifecycle assessment study by DSM shows, the production of bio-based Dyneema causes in comparison to its conventional counterpart a significant reduction of the carbon dioxide emissions, but reaches herewith identical properties and technical values! The difference to conventional HMPE is even bigger.
Bio-based Dyneema is primarily produced with residues of the pulp- and wood industry. The use of Ethylen made of sustainable and renewable raw materials, instead of petrochemical materials reduces fossil fuel consumption and minimizes the ecological footprint in the further production chain.
The most popular and commonly used in the LIROS Ropes Range of Dyneema Core Ropes is D-PRO
What stands out in the D-PRO LIROS Ropes range are the Colours available. We hold stock in a wide range of colours and sizes at our Brookvale, Australia Warehouse. With 20m rolls available in 1mm to 4mm and 100m Rolls in all sizes, in the largest sizes, we hold limited stock due to demand. We also provide cut length options for a large selection of this range and often get in rolls of larger lengths for custom orders.
LIROS Heat-Stretch-System guarantees optimal breaking loads and stretch characteristics of this line.
Excellent chafing resistance, light weight, and easy spliceability make this line irreplaceable in all sorts of applications on racing boats of any size.

D-Pro-XTR is a 12-plaited braided Dyneema® line with highly durable XTR Grip Coating.
Well-suited as a replacement for steel ropes and hard shackles.
D-Pro XTR is the ultimate line for applications that require the least stretch.

LIROS D-Pro Static is the only Dyneema® product with no creep. Ideal for any application where dimensional stability is critical (outhaul, backstay, dinghy shrouds).
Also suited for static lines in industrial or other water sport applications.
